About Sihha Fit

Who writes this site and how we choose our sources.

What Sihha Fit is

Sihha Fit (صحة فيت) is a fitness and nutrition app for Muslims. It builds workouts and halal meal plans around your goals, adapts to Ramadan, and works in English and Arabic. This website holds the app's support pages, privacy policy and a growing set of guides.

Who writes this site

Hadi Ataei is a software engineer and the developer of Sihha Fit. He writes and edits the guides. He is not a doctor or a registered dietitian, which is why every guide is written as general education, shows its sources, and tells you when to see a professional.

How we choose our sources

  • Classical Islamic medicine: we cite the physicians themselves, such as Ibn Sina, al-Razi, al-Zahrawi and Ibn al-Baytar, and say clearly when something is a historical view.
  • Modern research: we link to systematic reviews, public-health bodies such as the WHO and NHS, and other published studies. We say how strong the evidence is, including when it is weak.
  • The Qur'an: we quote verses where they bear on the topic.
  • We keep tradition and evidence apart, so you can see which is which.

What we don't do

  • We don't give medical advice or diagnose anything. Talk to a qualified doctor about your own health.
  • We don't promise cures or fast results.
  • We don't take payment to feature products in our guides.
